Dear Students,
Welcome to first grade. This is going to be a great school year. I am
very excited to be your first grade teacher.
I love hugs. I begin each morning with good morning hugs and end each day
with goodbye hugs. This makes me feel like a special, loved teacher! I
promise to make good choices and show you great manners. I also promise to
help make you good choice makers and use your best manners. I promise to
respect you and items that belong to you. In return, I expect the same for me,
your classmates, and items in our classroom. I know this will be easy because
everyone shows greatness in my class.
I can't wait to be your teacher and hope that you will adore me as much as
I adore you!
Remember to be great choice makers and learn from the choices that were not
good.
